Hammered Solitaire
This signature Katie g. piece is the perfect Solitaire for “every day” wear. Beyond its timeless beauty the lowered setting is very practical and as with all our textured rings, this ring will age beautifully.

Organic Solitaire
The unique surface texture is achieved through a process called “reticulation” (melting). This gorgeous irregular surface texture provides a striking contrast to the perfect diamond set in the ring, letting it shine even brighter.

Cutting Edge Solitaire
Each Cutting Edge Solitaire is facetted by hand, making each ring shape truly unique. Like all our Solitaires each piece is digitally designed and 3D printed, allowing all proportions to be adapted to your liking.

Baguette Solitaire
For the Baguette solitaire we only use very slim baguette diamonds which are hard to come by but make for this gorgeous look. The shank of each ring can be textured in a variety of ways but most often it is hammered or reticulated.

Diamond cloud ring
The Diamond Cloud Ring features an arrangement of irregularly shaped brilliant cut diamonds, tightly arranged to form a cloud shape. Each diamond arrangement is unique!

The nina memoire
Designed for the engagement of a dear friend, this piece was born out of pure love. This unique memory ring shape, with its 7 raised settings, is combined with a textured band and can be customised with your choice of diamonds or gemstones in a variety of sizes.

How to order your engAGEment ring
While it is possible to order our solitaire rings from afar, we recommend that you visit us in our atelier in Vienna to get a better feel for the details of each piece. We’d love to show you all the options, help you define the perfect ring for you and inform you about prices in detail. Below we have listed the basic decisions involved in each Solitaire creation, both for collection and custom solitaires.
1 / STYLE
Choose your model or, if it’s a bespoke piece, share your idea. The more details, images, drawings you can provide the better. We will give you our advice along the way to help you find the most fitting style.
2 / Ringsize
Aesthetics are about proportions. To make a ring that both looks beautiful and sits perfectly on the wearers hand, knowing the correct ring size is crucial. If you don’t know your partners ring size, please get in touch.
3 / stone size
The stone size is the defining element of a Solitaire, the whole ring will be designed in proportion to the stone. The ring size is a good indicator for the stones size as the stone should be in proportion to the hand. It’s about finding the RIGHT stone for your partner, not the biggest.
4 / stone quality
Diamonds are by far the hardest gemstone and as such are perfect for engagement rings that are to remain beautiful for many generations. Should you however be interested in another type of stone we would be happy to advise.
5 / GOLD COLOUR
Broadly speaking the main gold colours are yellow gold, rosé gold and white gold. We’d be happy to show you all the options in our atelier. For more information please visit our materials section.
6 / Surface texture
At Katie g. jewellery we love to texturise the surface of our rings, especially solitaire rings. The special textures help the diamond shine even brighter and allow the ring to age beautifully.
7 / DEtailing
To further enhance your piece, additional detailing may be added. Maybe an engraving on the inside of the ring? Subtle diamonds scattered on the band? Or maybe you want to combine a Ring Casing?
8 / Approval
Most of our custom solitaires use 3D Design and printing. This high-end technique makes your rings exceptionally durable and allows us to adapt all details to your liking. For custom pieces we provide 3D renderings for your approval.
complimentary service
Through the use of 3D printing and casting, our solitaire rings are exceptionally durable, as the ring is cast out of a solid piece of gold with no weak points. With regular servicing your ring will last many generations. We offer a complimentary lifetime service for each of our solitaires. We recommend that you have your piece serviced every 1 - 3 years or if the ring was exposed to a large force (an accident for instance). Ethical Diamonds
Diamonds are the perfect gemstone for engagement rings. Not only is their beauty captivating, but also diamonds are the hardest stone and, as such, are ideal for rings which are to be worn for a lifetime and more. The ethical sourcing of these stones is exceptionally important to us. We only offer natural diamonds which were sourced under the kimberley process as well as lab grown diamonds which were produced completely CO2 neutral.
